These terms govern your use of The Orchard archive. By creating an account or posting content, you agree to these terms. They are written plainly. Please read them.
The Orchard is a fan fiction and original fiction archive operated by RaeOvSun LLC as part of the Tasting Eden ecosystem. It is free to use. Creating an account and posting stories costs nothing.
You are responsible for your account and everything posted under it. Keep your password private. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may not access or post Explicit-rated content.
You own what you write. By posting to The Orchard you grant us a non-exclusive license to display your work on this platform. We do not claim ownership of your stories, and we will not sell or license your work to third parties without your permission.
You may delete your stories at any time from your dashboard.
RPF is allowed on The Orchard under our RPF Policy. Writers must tag their stories as RPF. The archive will automatically display a disclaimer to readers. Takedown requests from real persons depicted will be honored immediately and without debate.
Writers must accurately rate their content. Mislabeling Explicit content as General or Mature is a violation of these terms and may result in the story being re-rated or removed.
The Orchard reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms without prior notice. In cases of serious violation, accounts may be suspended. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if your content is removed.
We aim to keep The Orchard available but make no guarantees of uptime. The archive is provided as-is. We are not liable for any loss of content, though we take reasonable precautions to protect your work.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will note the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the archive after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Questions about these terms or the archive can be directed through the contact form or through the Tasting Eden ecosystem at raeovsun.com.
